Two Pacific Palisades residents step in to protect their neighbors' homes from the raging wildfire.

Amidst the fierce Palisades Fire, two residents took matters into their own hands to protect their homes and neighbors. On Wednesday, Christopher Jones and another neighbor bypassed a security checkpoint to fight the flames. Using a pump rig and water from nearby pools and Jacuzzis, they sprayed water on the homes at risk.

Their quick thinking and brave efforts are believed to have saved at least six homes, including their own.
