Trump Signals Possible Tougher Sanctions on Russia and Others
In a recent press exchange, former President Donald Trump hinted at the potential for increased U.S. sanctions, primarily targeting Russia amid ongoing global tensions.
"When I see the moment that we're not going to make a deal, that this thing won't stop..." said Trump, alluding to a critical decision point in the near future.
When asked if there was a specific deadline, he replied:
“Yeah, it's in my brain, the deadline... When I see the moment... We’ll be very, very tough.”
Interestingly, Trump suggested that consequences might not be limited to one side:
“It could be on both countries, to be honest — takes two to tango. But we’re going to be very tough, whether it’s Russia or anybody else.”
His remarks suggest a flexible but assertive stance on foreign policy, leaving open the possibility of broader sanctions depending on how international negotiations evolve.
