Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) has released full video footage of its coordinated drone strikes on Russian Aerospace Forces airfields as part of Operation "Web" — a covert campaign reportedly targeting five separate military airbases across Russia.
According to Ukrainian sources, the operation aimed to disrupt Russia’s air operations by damaging key infrastructure and aircraft. While all five airfields were targeted, only two are confirmed to have sustained significant damage. The SBU did not specify the exact locations of the most impacted sites in the video but emphasized the operation’s precision and reach.
The released footage shows multiple angles of drones approaching and striking the airfields, some appearing to evade air defenses. This comes amid Kyiv's broader strategy of using long-range drones to hit deep into Russian territory, particularly airbases involved in launching missile and drone attacks on Ukraine.
Russian authorities have not officially confirmed the scale of the damage, though several independent sources have reported disruptions at military air facilities.
Operation "Web" represents yet another sign of Ukraine’s evolving drone warfare capabilities — now targeting not only the frontlines but strategic military infrastructure far from the battlefield.
