Iran Releases Footage of “Wave 14” Missile Launches Targeting Israel

In a dramatic development amid rising regional tensions, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has released official footage showing the launch of what it calls “Wave 14” — a large-scale missile strike targeting Israeli military and intelligence sites.

The attack is part of Operation True Promise 3, a broader campaign that Tehran claims is a response to “continued Zionist aggression and foreign interference in the region.”

According to Iranian state media and IRGC sources, the missile barrage was aimed exclusively at "strategic Israeli military and intelligence facilities." While exact locations have not been confirmed, initial reports suggest targets may have included air defense installations, intelligence outposts, and command centers.

 High Precision or High Risk?

The video footage, released early Thursday, shows what appear to be long-range ballistic missiles being launched from undisclosed locations inside Iran. Experts say the display marks a significant show of force, with the scale and coordination suggesting months of preparation.

Israeli officials have not yet commented on the attack, but local media report multiple activations of the Iron Dome missile defense system overnight, with explosions observed over several key cities.

 International Reactions Mount

Global powers have reacted with concern. The United Nations has called for "immediate de-escalation," while U.S. officials described the situation as “dangerously volatile.”

Middle East analysts warn that this could mark the beginning of a new phase in Iran–Israel tensions — one that may draw in broader regional actors if not contained diplomatically.

 What Comes Next?

While the effectiveness and damage from “Wave 14” are still being assessed, the psychological impact is already being felt. Tehran’s release of strike footage suggests a shift toward open deterrence, aiming to project strength not just to Israel, but to the wider international community.
