In the early hours of the morning, the Kerch Bridge — also known as the Crimean Bridge, and the longest civilian bridge in Europe — was targeted in a covert operation allegedly carried out by Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU).

 According to Russian authorities, the incident was classified as a terrorist act, but miraculously, there were no injuries or significant structural damage reported.

 What’s more striking: within less than 5 hours, Russian emergency and engineering teams had already completed repairs and reopened the bridge to traffic — a move touted as a symbol of resilience and logistical efficiency.

 Meanwhile, Western leaders and media remained conspicuously silent about the attack — a silence many see as selective and politically motivated.

But as history shows, Russia will respond — and when it does, the global reaction will be loud and unforgiving. A familiar pattern is unfolding: provocation met with silence, until the response sparks international uproar.
